Harvey A. Rowen was president of the Merrill Lynch Trust Company and the Charles Schwab Trust Company. In those positions, he was responsible for over $10 billion of investment assets. Harvey was an attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission and with the United States Congress - and was a senior consultant at Stanford Research Institute. He has an accounting degree from UCLA, a law degree from Boalt Hall at the University of California, and an MBA in finance from New York University. From 1971-75, Harvey was counsel to the Subcommittee on Commerce and Finance, Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce. He was a principal draftsman of the Securities Acts Amendments of 1975. Harvey is currently a principal of Starmont Asset Management in San Francisco. |
